Job Summary

If you an experienced Clinical Data Manager, with skills in Oracle/Clintrial, plus SAS, then we have the perfect opportunity for you.  Working with a World leading CRO in their Data Management division, the Clinical Data Manager will design and maintain clinical databases, program edit check rules, assist in the final transfer of datasets to Biostatistics, and to provide technical support as required.

This position can be home based.

Background

Due to expansion, the Clinical Data Manager will design and maintain clinical databases, program edit check rules, assist in the final transfer of datasets to Biostatistics, and provide technical support as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project-specific databases for the entry of clinical data.
• Develop and validate edit check rules and other programs (e.g. listings) as required.
• Load data into the clinical database when data is received electronically.
• Format and transfer databases for statistical analysis according to study/client requirements.
• Attend client/project meetings and communicate with client, as required.
• Create and maintain study documentation as required, in accordance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Assist and guide new personnel during their initial training period.
• Supervise quality review of DBA I/DBA II tasks to ensure problems are documented and resolved.
• Suggest improvements based on quality reviews in order to increase future efficiency and quality awareness.
• Act as client interface for all database and programming issues.

Qualifications and Experience

• Appropriate computer-related qualifications or equivalent.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Proven experience in Clinical Data Management or relevant environment.
