Job Summary

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA) or Lead Clinical Research Associate to become Clinical Project Manager for one of the world’s leading clinical research organisations (CRO).

Job Title

Clinical Project Manager

Background

Due to expansion, our client is looking to recruit a Clinical Project Manager to coordinate and manage the activities of individual studies and staff in a manner that ensures all timeframes and targets are met, and that costs are kept under control.

Key Responsibilities

• Effectively manage all staff under his/her jurisdiction (or assist in staff management as appropriate).
• Manage projects in a timely manner in adherence with COMPANY SOPs and appropriate regulations, and to liaise with other department managers as necessary to achieve this.
• Keep individual project costs under control.
• Monitor the quality specification within the project.
• Liaise with clients on project related matters.
• Ensure all necessary training is provided to his/her staff to improve their job performance and knowledge.  Maintain documentation of training as appropriate.
• Keep senior management informed of project status in relation to quality, timelines and staff issues.
• Liaise with other managers to improve the effectiveness of the organisation.
• Maintain confidentiality of management information as appropriate.
• Participate in business development activities as appropriate

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience as a Senior Clinical Research Associate, Lead Clinical Research Associate or Clinical Project Manager.
• Degree educated.
• Ability to liaise successfully with clients.
• Current full driving licence.
