Flame Pharma is working alongside a leading Clinical Research Organisation to appoint a Pharmacovigilance Manager to join their highly skilled and established team in their modern state of the art facilities in Hampshire. The Role

As a Pharmacovigilance Manager, the successful candidate will provide functional management of Drug Safety Associates, Monitors and Administrative staff, whilst managing the reporting of serious adverse events according to applicable legislation.

They will ensure that the safety monitoring of projects within the department runs efficiently and all activities are completed accurately in accordance with company standards and sponsor contracts.

The Person

Candidates must have a medical, scientific, nursing or equivalent educational background together with extensive Drug Safety experience including proven supervisory experience and must be able to effectively motivate and lead a successful team. Whilst they must also have awareness of ISO standards, experience in safety database management would be preferable.
