Project Manager

Due to expansion, our client is looking to recruit a project manager. This role will involve customer, trial, project team and project financial management responsibilities. The Project Manager is the person responsible for the overall conduct of the project and is accountable for the delivery of the project to timelines and within budget. The Project Manager, under the supervision of the Project Director, is responsible for all stages of a project’s lifecycle.

• Adhere to this organisation and Sponsors’ standard operating procedures (SOPs), policies, and protocols, as applicable.
• Adhere to GCP guidelines, applicable 21 CFR, DHHS and local regulations in order to ensure that clinical trials are performed accurately and within compliance
• Serve as the main point of contact for the customer during the study
• Deliver small to medium projects within defined timelines and budget
• Effectively manage project team / resources
• Maintain customer satisfaction and foster repeat business
• Assure compliance with regulatory, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ICH Good Clinical Practice (ICH GCP) and project requirements
• Participate in proposal development and bid defence meetings with customer Qualifications and Experience
• Possesses understanding of the principles of project management – including assessment and management of project issues and mitigation of risks
• Working knowledge and experience of project management processes
• Excellent organisational skills and proactive planning
• Prioritises tasks appropriately and is able to delegate and track tasks effectively
• Ability to understand and provide accurate monthly project financial reports
• Ability to analyse project financial information and make recommendations for corrective actions
• Ability to identify project problems, risks and customer needs and make recommendations how to manage
• Possesses effective written and verbal communication skills
• Possesses effective communication style and strategic thinking; ability to manage and motivate project team into action
• fluent in Project planning techniques and methodologies and is fluent in the use of MS Project
• Able to recognise cultural and regulatory differences to successfully lead ‘other region’ CRO or country coordinating PM in the successful execution of a clinical project.
• A undergraduate degree in life science, allied health or related field preferred
