Background

Working with the Project Director, Head of Clinical Operations and Director of Clinical Operations, the role of Senior Clinical Project Manager is a highly responsible role with full project management responsibility for clinical studies with numerous participating countries or centers. There is the opportunity to expand your career and develop into management of larger complex studies, having full international responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Acts as the primary point-of-contact and liaison with the Sponsor to provide outstanding clinical project management and customer service.
• Lead clinical project management teams, and organises clinical study meetings and presentations, including Sponsor meetings and teleconferences, and Clinical Project Management Team Meetings.
• Design and develop clinical trial documents such as Study Plans, Site Manuals, and Subject Information/Consent.
• Prepares and/or reviews protocols and other study documentation as required by the Sponsor and in collaboration with the Regulatory Affairs and Technical Writing departments.
• Design and develop the Case Report Form.
• Oversee submissions to regulatory authorities and IEC/IRB submissions (inc collaboration with the Regulatory Affairs and Technical Writing department) including overseeing collection of essential (regulatory) documents from sites and Sponsor, organising translations of study related documentation.
• Act as liner manager for assigned clinical research staff.

Qualifications and Experience

• Must have proven experience as a clinical project manager within clinical research.
• Further extensive experience within clinical development, clinical data management or related discipline within the clinical research or pharmaceutical sectors.
• Scientific degree.
• Must be able drive, and be prepared for some travel.
