Senior Project Manager

Due to expansion, our client is looking to recruit a Senior Project Manager able to perform job tasks and team management functions with a high level of independence from managerial direction. As with the core Project Manager role, the Senior Project Manager is the person responsible for the overall conduct of the project and is accountable for the delivery of the project to timelines and within budget. The Senior Project Manager may also assume line management or supervisory responsibilities of staff within the Clinical Research Department

• Adhere to Constella’s and Sponsors’ standard operating procedures (SOPs), policies, and protocols, as applicable.
• Adhere to GCP guidelines, applicable 21 CFR, DHHS and local regulations in order to ensure that clinical trials are performed accurately and within compliance
• Serve as the main point of contact for the customer during the study
• Deliver medium to large projects within defined timelines and budget and quality and with minimum management support
• Effectively manage and motivate project team / resources
• Maintain customer satisfaction and foster repeat business
• Improve departmental processes and promote effective change
• Assist with proposal development and participate in bid defence meetings with customers
• Demonstrates thorough knowledge and experience of project management and is able to mentor project team and more junior project management staff
• Able to delegate and prioritise project tasks appropriately with the global team
• Proactively evaluates/revises deadlines when required
• Demonstrates sound commercial and financial judgements on projects
• Demonstrates strong knowledge of the customer’s environment, needs and drivers, and consistently meets those needs
• Proactively identifies and manages potential problems and issues
• Has awareness of strategic as well as tactical approaches to project and customer management
• Able to manage and communicate with diverse teams without conflict or misunderstanding
• An undergraduate degree in life science, allied health or related field
• Project management and or clinical operations experience
