Flame Pharma is helping expand the Medical Affairs division of a global CRO based in Cambridge by recruiting an Associate Medical Director.  This highly responsible position requires a fully GMC registered doctor with specialist or general post-registration clinical practice experience essential.  The Associate Medical Director will have some exposure to, clinical research, clinical pharmacology, drug safety or other relevant Pharmaceutical Medicine, gained in either a commercial, NHS or academic environment.

The Role:

Key areas of responsibility include providing project-specific clinical research medical services and medical support for pharmacovigilance and medical information services. The successful candidate will help plan, prepare and review/approve regulatory submissions, protocols, Investigator Brochures, among other documents. In addition they will provide a specialist medical advisory service, assist in medical/safety training and will have the opportunity to develop skills in Pharmaceutical medicine including Specialist Therapeutic areas

The Person:

Full GMC registration is essential for this role. A doctor with specialist or general post-registration clinical practice experience is required, preferably with some exposure to either clinical research, clinical pharmacology, drug safety or other relevant Pharmaceutical Medicine, gained in either a commercial, NHS or academic environment.
