Flame Pharma - Medical Communications - Medical Writer Job - Berkshire, Maidenhead Berkshire, Maidenhead: Excellent Package Flame Pharma is working with one of the world’s leading medical communications organisations to recruit a range of Associate Medical Writers, Medical Writers, Senior Medical Writers and Medical Writing Team Leaders. With an international reach and expertise across a wide range of therapeutic areas, our client can certainly accelerate your career within medical writing and medical communications. The Medical Writer is required to consistently produce high quality medical education and communications materials for the pharmaceutical industry and other educational bodies. The area of expertise will be Oncology. The Role: The Medical Writer will carefully take, correctly interpret and implement a project specification/brief, plus research, write, edit and proof copy to the highest standard (scientific and grammatical) for a full range of medical education and communications materials including scientific abstracts papers, posters, oral presentations, print items, and multimedia. They will liaise with pharmaceutical industry key contacts, healthcare professionals and other external service providers. The successful candidate will also check printer’s proofs (text, layout, colour, specification) and sign-off for print/production and provide direction for the development of creative designs. The Person: Educated to degree level or above in a biomedical discipline, the successful candidate will have a good understanding of healthcare and the pharmaceutical industry. The Medical Writer will be skilled in delivering medical writing projects to specification and service delivery timelines in an agency or comparable environment.
