Our client is looking to offer a talented and driven Cell Based Assay Scientist the exciting opportunity to join their experienced team based in Wiltshire.

Job Title

Cell Based Assay Scientist

Background

As a Cell Based Assay Scientist in the Analytical Development Laboratory, you will be part of a team which supports the Formulation Development and Process Development groups, in the completion of development activities, as agreed with the client.

Key Responsibilities

· To analyse samples, using appropriate methods, to the required standards producing high quality data. To develop and validate analytical methods, as appropriate.

· To ensure that equipment/instrumentation is calibrated and maintained and that laboratory records/documentation comply with cGMP’s.

· Performs job responsibilities in compliance with cGMP’s and all other regulatory agency requirements.

· To be a member of project team(s) to ensure the successful completion of tasks within the agreed timeframes.

· To communicate effectively both internally and externally, Presenting results in oral or written reports to the relevant supervisor and to produce technical documentation packages on projects under guidance of supervisor.

· To work in compliance with Company and Regulatory requirements, and to ensure that proprietary information is protected at all times.

· Satisfactorily completes all cGMP and safety training in conformance with Departmental and Site requirements.

· Works in a safe and considerate manner in the laboratory.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

· Minimum BSc in a Life Science Degree

· Proven track record as analytical chemist or similar position within the Industrial pharmaceutical sector preferably with GLP / GMP testing experience

· Must have good working knowledge of Cell Based Assay.

· Good team player

· Computer literate
