Flame Pharma is working alongside a leading Pharmaceutical organisation to appoint a Product Development Analytical Chemist to join their highly skilled and experienced team in their state of the art facilities in Ireland. The Role:

As a Product Development Analytical Chemist, reporting to the Product Development Manager, the candidate will be responsible for the Analytical testing of new products and line extensions in support of internal stability programs. Preparing, reviewing and checking advanced area documentation (SOP’s, protocols, specification sheets and analytical data sheets). They will ensure all personally assigned laboratory systems and procedures are carried out and controlled in line with internal organisation’s policies.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing familiarity with advanced laboratory equipment (operation, raw data processing, basic maintenance and calibration and qualification) and with ensuring equipment is maintained in accordance with cGMP requirements

The Person:

Ideally candidates will hold a degree within a scientific field together with proven experience as a Research and Development Scientist in a Pharmaceutical environment. Previous Analytical method validation experience is also essential.
