Flame Pharma is working alongside a leading Pharmaceutical organisation to appoint a Product Development Scientist to join their highly skilled and experienced team in their state of the art facilities in Ireland. The Role

As a Product Development Senior Scientist, reporting to the Product Development Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out and supervising current Formulation and Analytical Method activities in relation to Hyaluronic Acid (HA) products and line extensions. You will co-ordinate and perform stability testing as required, assisting when necessary in Formulation activities of in-house new developed formulations.

In addition you will provide support to Production during the Technology transfer, process validation phase and troubleshooting, ensuring timely new product introduction in accordance with cGMP and ISO standards. You will be responsible for maintaining laboratory SOP’s in a state of compliance, training new staff and reviewing and supervising documentation for product registration prepared by Product Development personnel.

The Person

You will hold a degree within a scientific field together with proven expereince as a Research and Development Scientist in a Pharmaceutical environment. You must have a sound knowledge of all current GLP/GMP requirements. A Knowledge of ISO 13485 Medical Devices directive would be an advantage
